I was born in Stockton, California to first generation Mexican-American parents and was a first generation college graduate. I spent 24 years working for the Alameda County Probation Department and 17 years teaching in Stockton, California. I moved from Stockton to Pocatello to be closer to my family, particularly my 4 grandchildren. I’m running for Pocatello City Council because I want to make a difference in lowering taxes, getting the roads fixed, ensuring public safety, and ensuring that all citizens are cared for. I care about Pocatello because I believe it’s a vibrant city perfect for small businesses, a great place to grow up, and has great amenities for recreation. If I were elected to Pocatello City Council my focus would be solely on the citizens of Pocatello.
